More than speed
More than heart rate
More than elevations conquered
I dig miles

I could run them
I would walk them
I could crawl them
I dig miles

My stationary bike don't go nowhere
A treadmill would make me lose my hair
Skipping rope's for fun so I don't care, but

Soft and knobby trails
The loud whirl of city streets
A seemingly endless sidewalk
It don't matter
I dig miles

I'll put my VO2 max on a shelf
I'll hide how I finished in that race
